Finding true happiness is every person's ultimate goal. But before you spit on your computer screen in disgust out of disagreement, why would you spit on the screen? I'm sorry in advance for this ‘graphic’ example but it shows my point nicely. Oh, it's more interesting as well! You'd spit on the screen because it would make you happy. Well you'd lose that happiness once you realise you have to clean the saliva up. So why clean it up then? Because cleaning the saliva would make you happier then leaving it dangle on the screen. If you don't want to clean it up (sure hope not), than that is your happier choice. Aristotle taught that happiness is at the core of the actions we take. It is the ultimate goal every human being pursues. The actions you make are not true happiness but create and surround happiness. That is why you are at this site. Finding the key to happiness is difficult, but peel back the layers of your actions and you'll find it. It's what you peel back (the actions you take) that will determine the size of your happiness.
